A sign, or a reason...
Sometimes, when rising, there is an expectancy that things will happen.

Today is one of those days. I woke with the feeling that this was a beginning of sorts - that something today would give me a new perspective on life. What this is yet, I do not know- but I anticipate it with the eagerness of a child. It could be as simple as finding a butterfly, here in the metropolis, amongst the gray ghosts of the city and the long paths we walk within her. It could be as complex as learning a new philosophy, or a new approach to being.

I open myself to all possibilities, and close myself to none. While I still wake and breathe, there is still hope, and so every day is a blessing.

I will walk among the streets, and listen to the words of the people. I will turn my eyes to the heavens, and watch the drifting of the clouds. I will look to the earth, and not forget from where we have come, and to where we shall return.

And I will keep a careful watch for whatever it is I am supposed to find.
